Description : Mixed bed resins or mixed bed ion exchange resins are mainly used in the water purification industry for polishing process water to achieve demineralized water quality (such as after a reverse osmosis system). Mixed bed as the name states consists of strong acid cation exchange and strong base anion exchange resin.

What does it do: Remove all minerals from the water. Good to know: The water can be used in batteries and fish tanks. It would be a good thing to get a TDS meter to test the quality of the water.

Maintenance: Replace the media as it gests depleated and the TDS goes up.
