Introduction:
The Manual Softener Valve Head (F64A1) allows you to manually cycle your water softener through the various stages of the regeneration process. This valve head does not require any electricity to operate and is designed for use with FRP vessels with 2.5" ports.
 
Specifications:
Inlet: 1"/ 25mm female
Outlet: 1"/ 25mm female
Connection to Brine Tank: 3/8"
Drain: 1/2" / 15mm male
 
Installation Instructions:
1. Ensure the valve head is installed in a vertical position.
2. Connect the inlet and outlet pipes to the valve head according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Connect the brine tank connection to the valve head.
4. Connect the drain pipe to the valve head.
5. Tighten all connections securely to prevent leaks.
 
Operation:
1. Close the valve head by turning the handle clockwise.
2. Open the brine tank connection by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Allow the brine solution to flow into the softener vessel.
4. Close the brine tank connection by turning it clockwise.
5. Open the drain valve by turning it counterclockwise.
6. Allow the wastewater to drain completely before opening the inlet valve.
7. Open the inlet valve by turning it counterclockwise.
8. Close the drain valve by turning it clockwise.
 
Maintenance:
Regularly inspect the valve head and replace any worn or damaged parts.
Clean the valve head and surrounding area regularly to prevent mineral buildup and corrosion.
Lubricate moving parts regularly to prevent sticking.
 
Troubleshooting:
If the valve head is difficult to turn, check for mineral buildup and clean as necessary.
If the brine tank connection does not open or close properly, check for blockages or damage and replace as necessary.
